New Federal Policy Calls for Collaboration to Improve Public Safety
Visit the Department ofJustice Briefing Room to learn about a recent initiative to improve public safety in Indian Country. The policy calls for all U.S. Attorneys in districts containing Indian Country to establish tribal liaisons who, in consultation with tribes, would develop an operational plan to address elements such as communications, investigations, victim advocacy, and accountability and provide a blueprint for collaboration.
