The American Jobs Act and Indian Country


Recently, the White House outlined the ways that President Obama envisions the American Jobs Act specifically helping Native American populations that have been excessively affected by the recent economic downturn. Measures include tax cuts, extending unemployment insurance, and investing in infrastructure (including money allotted to Bureau of Indian Education-funded schools).  See more details at the White House blog post.
